Excellent and ingenious! But a small caveat: it is not an eagle, it's a vulture. In any case, great shot and perfect processing!

A beautiful photograph of a (sadly) diminishing endangered bird. Many congratulations

Beautiful photo of a highly underrated and under appreciated bird. A beautiful vulture!

This is a planned shoot and I wanted to get the best light of the day for photography, the golden hour. This was taken around 5 PMLighting
The afternoon sun was almost perfect but was not directly hiting the bird's head. So i patiently waited for this bird to move and after few mins, viola!Equipment
Taken with Canon 5DMK3. I used 2x extender on my 70-200mm F2.8 lens and with monopod.Inspiration
Viewbug and other internet photo sites. Browsing thru viewbug photos gave me the inspiration to shoot more and more. Once i saw a very good and inspiring photo, then it challenges me to take similar or maybe better photo.Editing
Majority of my photos are processed thru Lightroom. I only used photoshop when i want to play with different background and removal of unnecessary elements which can't be done in Lightroom. Although my favorite genre is B&W i still processed with colors when i felt that subject is more attractive than in B&W.In my camera bag
Different shooting calls for different equipment. On street photography, i just carry my heavy 70-200mm lens and my 5dmk3. For portraits, i carry my 85mm F1.2 lens and speedlight for fill or artistic shots. For landscape, its 16-35mm lens and definitely a tripod plus Lee filters. When traveling, 70-200mm F2.8, 16-35mm F2.8, tripod, filters, flash and extra batteries and memory cards.Feedback
Every time i attended photography workshop, most speakers will tell you that before they became what they are now, they copied and followed other photographers, challenged themselves to create the same work or make it even better. But at the end of the day, they advised to create your own identity, your own style. So for my advice, learn the basics, improved your shots thru learning from the experts and once you master their craft, create your own identity. For me ... i'm still on the process of creating that identity.
