Makes me want to jump on the bike & hit this highway. Unfortunately there's too much snow between here & there. Love this photo !!

Location
This photo was taken at the valley of fire in Nevada, just outside on Las Vegas.Time
This shot was taken around mid afternoon.Lighting
I like using natural lighting. The sun is the all time best light source.Equipment
Cannon EOS 5D and an artist's eye.Inspiration
Driving through the park i noticed a memorial off to the side of the road so pulled over to check it out. After taking a few photos of it I started wondering back to the car when my eye caught the mountain at the end of the hilly road. I stepped into the street placed my camera on the road and snapped one of my all time favorite photos.Editing
I added some saturation and fixed some exposure. In my camera bag
I just strap on my camera and go. No bag no other lenes or equipment. Maybe a microfiber cloth to clean my lens. I like to get down and dirty so I carry as little as possible.Feedback
Always have your camera on you, you never know when inspiration will arise. Experiment with angles and over shoot. Enjoy what you do and do what you enjoy.
