This is a LOVELY shot... I was born not too far away from here. The placement of the Tower in the frame and the diverging lines flowing to the Tower allow your eye to explore the region. Well done...!

This photo was takin in spring 2014 in Paris, FranceTime
We were enjoying an all photo week in Paris taking shots in early morning and at sunset. This one was taken at the end just after the sun leaves the horizon.Lighting
There was no light around as I was on a top of a building in Montparnasse.Equipment
This was shot with a SONY ILCE-7R WITH A FE 24-70MM F4 ZA OSS ens at 53mm. There is a glass arond this building and just a small aperture to take a photo. Unfortunately my tripod was not high enough so I took it handheld at 1/13sec at f / 5,6 ISO 400.Inspiration
I wanted to illustrate the nightview of Paris with the old buildings in front and the "new" city with skyscarpers in background. I was travelling with my friend, the french photographer Serge Ramelli who took me to this place.Editing
Nothing special besides the usual dodging and burning. In my camera bag
For this trip to Paris I wanted to travel light, so I had my SONY A7R, a Mefoto tripod, a ZEISS 35mm lens 2.8 and the FE 24-70mm F4 ZA OSSFeedback
Paris is a lovely city were many buildings get illuminated at night time. Trying to find a nice spot during the day is easy then wait for sunset or sunrise to get those warm tones.
