I took the picture at home, on the kitchen table :)Time
Evening, night - it was completely dark outsideLighting
That might be funny but I used second hand old Nikon Speedlight SB-24 (which was introduced in 1988 and it works perfectly) and table lamps. No professional (expensive) equipment at all !Equipment
The picture was taken with Nikon d5100 and an old Nikon Speedlight SB-24.Inspiration
Well, idea of taking a photo itself. I was trying to catch a picture of an apple (and other fruit and vegetables) in somewhat extraordinary composition. Bubbles and water seemed to give it a fresh look.Editing
Simple photoshop actions. Little of sharpening and contrast but not much at all.In my camera bag
Nikon d5100, standard kit lens 18-55, telephoto 55-300 and prime lens 50mm (last one is borrowed - still working for my own :). Additionally, 2 spare (always charged) batteries, second SD card, and some AA batteries for the speedlight. Quite amateur set must I say.Feedback
Think what you want to capture, get the image in your head first and then take the means necessary to make it live. You are not limited by your equipment - no professional studio ? use table :) not good lightning? take table lamps and so on and on. In this case I took the apple, sparkling water, glass container, table lamps, black background and started shooting. Simple as that!
