This is a phenomenal shot. The close depth of field, and perfect balance in color; not to mention how you made him look like a house cat. I love it.

Location
I took this photo back in 2011 at Edinburgh Zoo, Scotland.Time
I remember it was late Summer and late afternoon.Lighting
The light was all natural, late summer sunshine and a clear sky gave a warm glow to the subject.Equipment
Just my trusty Sony a35k Camera: SONY SLT-A35 Aperture: f/5.6, ISO: 1000, Exposure: 1/500 with a 75-300 telephoto lens.Inspiration
Just a day at the Zoo I became obsessed with the big cats especially the Jaguar who lazed in the warm sun oblivious to us spectators.Editing
I used a little Lightroom and Photoshop to remove slight out of focus fence blur.In my camera bag
Apart from my Sony a35, I have the odd filter lens and a tripod, I tend to use my eyes to look for the perfect composition.Feedback
Patience is all you need (the camera helps too) I wasn't looking for this photo, these come out of the blue and spontaneous.
