I am always a sucker for a great half face. Great job and amazing focal point on the eyes. By far one of my favorites!

I do not usually check out galleries of portrait photographers but I was very impressed by what I read and saw in your feature so here I am! You have a wonderfully special style giving portrait work new meaning! I am also impressed that you keep your gallery tight so it is possible to spend the time to fully appreciate your images. Thank you for sharing.

This was taken outside of a church, so if you feel anything holy about it, that's why! ;)Time
This was a pretty impulsive photoshoot so it ended up being midday, which is very atypical for me! We found some shade so it ended up quite alright.Lighting
The shading made this a great image, and the natural light from around the corner lighted up her face just right. I'm a natural light photographer, so feel free to ask me more questions about my methods :)Equipment
I was using my Canon 600D with my trusty 85mm f1.8 lens! Never fails a portrait.Inspiration
This 14 year old girl had posted some images of her on a social media service, and I couldn't help but feel that her face was greatly underappreciated! So I took up the task to do something about that ;) The wind was perfect for it.Editing
I did quite a lot of back and forth for this one. This is actually the original image cropped in half. At first, it was her face centered, and a lot more natural colors. I posted it, thinking it was great. After a failed response, I had to reconsider everything, and I thought "LET'S CHOP THIS UP!", and so I did. Some blue-purple in the shadows, and voila. In my camera bag
My Canon 6D, my 85mm 1.8 lens, my 24mm 2.8 lens, and my flash. Oh, and my emergency snack. Very important.Feedback
Sometimes being pretty isnt enough. You gotta try to look into what makes a face interesting and bring that out in the pictures. When I date, I got a ton of confidence because so few girls intimidate me now that I only find a select few interesting in their physical appearance. They are unique, and it's a photographers talent to see it! Also luck. A lot of luck :D Stay gold!
