A cracking in flight shot. Beautiful colours and flawless composition. Superb. (I started an insects in-flight project. Would make a nice addition).

I'm jealous! And you know why?Cause I can't find a bee with so nice trajectory. Good job!

Superb. Frozen in time without flash it seems. The overall smoothness makes viewing a real pleasure.

Nice work. Love the composition and the neutral background. Makes it really pop.

Location
The photo was taken in my garden I had not long had my macro lens and was keen to give it a goTime
it was early afternoon and very hot and bright which worked well to get a fast shutter speed.Lighting
I sat with the sun behind me as not to get any shadowsEquipment
At the time I was using a Canon 5D Mark 2 and a 150mm sigma lens. It was taken hand held.Inspiration
I love being with nature from tiny insects to big mamals. I think when you start looking through a macro lens the world becomes very interesting.Editing
There was very little post processing, I pulled the highlights down and cropped it, thats itIn my camera bag
Current my bag has a Canon 5d mark 4 and Mark 2. Lenses include canon 400mm Sigma 150mm macro Canon 18-55mm Canon 70-200mmFeedback
Patients and lots of it. If I was to try this shot again I would use a tripod and keep the flower in focus and wait
