As a camera man, standing behind her giving me a perfect composition and view point on the right as beautiful model and her very nice multicolour dress is key element of interest. Nice detail and lighting just where its needed. Fantastic capture. Congrats on the feature.

This young lady look to be at such peace. I like the focus on the rock, and the general balance of color of the girls clothing and fish. Great shot.

This photo is a knock out! You see it and you have to go back to looking at it again and again. The contrast and the complimentary colors make it a show stopper.Congrats!

This is so beautiful! I love all the vivid colors; they work so well together! The fish seem very mysterious and almost magical. This has a thoughtful, quiet vibe that I love :)

The multi-colored characters in this lovely image tell a story of mutual interest with the koi as much interested in the girl out there as the girl interested in the koi in there. A wonderful synchronicity!

Location
This photo was taken at the Union Pacific Railroad depot in Boise, Idaho. The old depot sits on a high bench overlooking the city and has a beautiful pond and landscaping.Time
With about twenty minutes of daylight remaining this shot presented itself below me in the shade as I was waiting to catch the last rays of sun on the city and mountains.Lighting
The softer, indirect evening light is great for bringing out the more subtle colors. I was fortunate to be able to capture the moving fish in this scene without blur. Just ten minutes later the light would have demanded a slower shutter speed.Equipment
Olympus E-3, Olympus Zuiko 12-60 SWD ED at 60mm, Manfrotto tripod, infrared release, ISO 100, F4.0, 125th sec.Inspiration
As I watched and waited, the subject strolled around the pond below me until she took a seat on a rock to watch the koi fish. The symmetry and colors connect the fish to the subject in this intimate moment. It was a private time of reflection that I was privileged to capture unnoticed.Editing
Contrast, clarity and highlights were adjusted in Lightroom 4, along with a strong crop.In my camera bag
Olympus OM-D E-M1, OM-D E-M5, and E-3 bodies, Olympus Zuiko Digital 12-60 and 50-200 SWD zooms, Zuiko 25mm pancake lens, Zuiko 35mm macro, Metabones Speedbooster with Zuiko 55mm f1.2 OM mount, Olympus FL36 flash.Feedback
Public moments can sometimes be the most private. A subject must feel unobserved to act authentically. A good place to shoot without being intrusive is from above and to the lighted side. An appealing location will serve as a magnet for people to stop and linger. Be careful to not disturb the scene with shutter noise and flash.
