Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken during a street photography outing in Petaling Street (aka KL's Chinatown). Coincidentally the stalls on the left & right were not open, and the dark room at the end of the corridor had a creepy feel to it, which compelled me to take a picture.

Time

This was taken in the late afternoon

Lighting

This was taken in natural light settings but manipulated using Lightroom.

Equipment

Shot with a Canon 7D, with a Sigma 18-35mm Art lens. Handheld, no flash.

Inspiration

I initially wanted a 'vanishing point' shot. But got carried away in Lightroom- which then turned out to look super creepy so i kept it this way.

Editing

Yes, the original image was in colour. I got carried away with my editing via Lightroom and liked the end result.

My camera. Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 lens Canon 50mm f/1.8 (plastic fantastic) Canon 70-200 f/4 L lens Nissin flash CPL filters and ND filters
