The basics of ViewBug
Start by uploading your photos to your account. Once your photos are uploaded you will be able to:
Edit your photo‘s name, description and tags. You may choose to add a watermark by going to the photo page and clicking on the edit icon to the right of the photo. You can also delete a photo by clicking on the edit icon.
Edit your public profile. You can choose to display your favorite photos in the slideshow by clicking on the “Edit Slideshow” button.
Join the photo contests by visiting the contest page and click on the ”Submit Photo” button.
Your account
You can log in using your email, facebook or twitter accounts. If you forget your password simply click on the “forgot password” link in the login page, we will send you an email with a new password.
Confirmation email. A confirmation email will be sent to you to confirm your membership within 24 hours of your signup. We appreciate your patience while we approve your membership.
Change your email. Typed it incorrectly? no problem.. simply go to your My Account page and change your email.
Change your username. If you wish to change your username please email us your desired new username and we will happily change it for you. Special characters and spaces are not allowed.
Activity and Participation
Follow and send messages to your favorite photographers by visiting their public profile page.
Voting on photos. Vote on your favorite photos once the contest opens for voting. Simply go to the vote section in the photo contest drop down menu.
Get votes. Share the link of your photo in the contest to invite people to vote on your submissions. Your friends can vote using facebook and twitter.
Blocking a user. Want to avoid someone’s messages or comments? Visit their public profile and click on the “block” link.
