Do I keep all the rights to the photos that I submit to a contest?
Yes, you maintain all legal rights to your photos, yet you allow ViewBug to display or publish your images per the contest’s guidelines.
Who chooses the contest winners and how are these winners selected?
Depending on the contest guidelines, some winners are selected by members’ votes and others are judged by ViewBug’s staff and/or a judging panel. Guest judges include various accomplished artists in different fields such as photography, video, mixed media, installation, painting and sculpture.
Winning photos are selected based on quality, originality, and creativity in accordance with the contest’s theme.
Can I see the photos that I have submitted to the contests?
Yes, in the photo contest drop down menu click on the My Submissions page. Here you will see a list of all the photos that you have submitted to the contests.
