Grand Jury Winner

"One of the most interesting things about reflections in photography is that they can take a simple scene and create something more abstract. The wonderful symmetry of this glacier is offset by the slight ripples in the water creating just a bit of tension, which I absolutely love. The texture of the image is wonderful and I bet it looks great in a big print. The darker tones at the bottom of the image make it feel balanced and grounded. Great work." - Stan Horaczek

Runner Up

"Frogs were popular in this contest and I can see why. I personally love this shot because of the pristine reflection and the great eye contact with the camera this little guy has. Great background with texture but no distractions." - Stan Horaczek

Runner Up

"In my opinion, the shapes created in the frame with the reflections are huge and this one does a fantastic job creating a dramatic shape. While the actual reflection doesn’t have a ton of intricate detail, it does drastically change the overall appearance of the image to something completely different than a typical beach shot." - Stan Horaczek

Runner Up

"I’m a sucker for the Northern Lights and including water in the equation makes the whole thing feel even more unearthly. The green glow appears to be coming from both above and below, which augments the surreal nature of it." - Stan Horaczek
