Bird Meal

Though I"m not a bird fan and I don't know much about them. I was truly mesmerized by by this bird's radiant and beautiful colors and its defying skill of catching insects...LOL! At Kalahari Bird Sanctuary, India.

This is an amazing capture. Like you, I am not big into shooting photos of birds, but sometimes they are the only thing around to take a picture of. Timing is everything and this shot has it all. Subject in focus, beautiful DOF and color. Simply WOW.
