This is technically exceptional, a very moving portrait, (it makes me want to cry) and with the caption it becomes a great piece of journalism.
Superb.

Thank you very much for your sweet and poignant comments. I was also moved to tears when I saw this youngster and instantly felt a sorrowful moment of reflection. Thanks for stopping by.

Me too, the sight of this young person evidently pondering something quite serious. Thanks for your comment.

This child caught my eye and grabbed my heart during shooting near the Mexico-California border. It is an expression that seems to have more depth of sorrow than a child should own. Makes me want to hug all orphans in the world.

Amazing job, visual poetry. You know that when an image tells a story, for sure..it´s a masterpiece ;)

Tells a great story. This is what photography is really all about. I have seen enough close-ups of bugs and wide roads going out to the horizon. What happened to this child and how can we all help children like her? That is what you have me us wonder. Keep on taking great pictures.

The whole photo is in the eyes...you've captured everything within. Great job.

I'm told this remark is toward a 'peer award' but despite having taken a half to a million photos, I'm just a rank amateur compared to the master who took this wonderful, poignant photo. Kucos.
