'Twas the last night of the Great Ocean Road section of our Road Trip. My son Mitch and I decided to skip the more common 12 Apostles lookout, and head down to the beach at Gibson Steps. The sky was quite overcast, but there appeared to be sliver of light trying to push through on the horizon, out over the ocean. Over the next 30mins, as the sun slowly sank, the light coming from the horizon slowly increased. Suddenly the most amazing pink and purple light was filling the sky all around us. Such a memorable sunset to share with each other!
