Sunset Rock
The setting sun off the northern California coast is a work of art! Took my breath away.
___________
Here's some fun trivia about this shot. It was a spur of the moment capture. I was at a beach party and had just my Canon 60D with my 24-70L. I saw that the sunset was going to be amazing and so I scampered on down the shoreline to some cliffs. I climbed up and down and around until I found an excellent cove that was sufficiently hidden from the rest of the world. I didn't have a tripod so I just set my camera to burst mode, turned on bracketing, and worked really hard on holding my breathe! This final image is 3 shots at -2, 0, +2. Doing this hand held proved difficult indeed. I have a lot of sets that won't see the light of day to prove it! I used HDR Efex Pro to do the merge and tweaking - then Photoshop for some contrast adjustments and what not.
I had fun taking and editing this and I'm glad you enjoy it! Thanks again for thinking my work is cool beans!

detail, clarity, creativity, HDR edit, well done! Awarded for Absolute Masterpiece and favorite!
