

Thomas Leuthard is a 40 year old street photographer from Switzerland who a very passionate about the human face. His speciality is shooting strangers from a very short in a candid way. For his passion he travels around the World to meet other photographers and to teach workshops in street photography.
Q&A with Thomas:
1. When did you start taking photos and what inspired you?
I started 4 years ago after buying a DSLR. I bought it just to try this out. I didn't have any inspiration at that time, I was just curious to see, if I can do that and how it works. I also booked a basic course to learn about using a DSLR. Then I liked it and found out that my interest
2. What equipment do you use and why?
I use a Lumix GX1 with a 20mm lens for full scenes and a Nikon D7000 with a 50mm lens for candid portraits.
3. What is one tip that you would like to share with other photographers?
Follow your passion and don't listen to other people. You make your photos for yourself only and not for your followers.
