Anthony Tortoriello of Atort Photography is a Chicago based photographer about to relocate to Costa Rica and has a purist approach to his work.  He shoots for a diverse clientele and has a proficient knowledge with everything digital and was around to watch first hand the birth of the digital revolution.  His goal is to show to others that if you truly open your eyes and your heart beauty is literally everywhere and our jobs as photographers is to capture that magic every chance we get.

"I have taken pictures my entire life for the most part or was the one with a camera, but truly started shooting seriously around eight years ago when I was forced to reinvent myself due to some life changes I had no control over.  I like to say photography found me, which it truly did.  The beauty in this world inspires me and feel an obligation to capture it and share with others.  

I use Nikon mainly now and prefer to keep it that way, but have shot Canon previously and don't have any brand loyalty per say and will shoot with whatever tool the job or shot requires.  I love the intuitiveness of Nikon and for me they just feel SO right which for me needs no explanation...just a feel and connection I have with my camera." - Anthony
