Since then I've upgraded to the Sony A55 DSLT and 2 new lenses. (18-250mm Sony and the 100mm Macro Sony). I've since purchased numerous accessories to aid my work. One of the most important being my circular polarizing filter. Living around a lot of water and beautiful skies has presented loads of opportunities to use the filter. I've also purchased an ND8 filter to calm the bright sun and slow the water down.
My A55 would be my favourite camera. It's fast shutter speed of 10fps and its continuous video autofocus means I never miss an exciting moment. I have seen and played with a few DLSR's and the one things that stands out about the Sony is the easy to use menu and dials.
I'm a self taught photographer so I find my inspiration in all forms of media including video. I think taking inspiration from other photographers and narrows the field of unique images. I enjoy reading and watching the national geographic magazines and shows. Almost every day I surf the web for new ideas and new images. Google+ is a great way to do this. I follow numerous photographers there, on twitter and through blogs. I read their stories and find out how they get the job done. If I see an image I like, I'll try to duplicate it, but not for the picture...I do it to understand the technique and settings they use to get the result. Its this understanding that makes the relationship with my camera, intimate." - Anthony
