About Guest Judge Ellie Davies
Ellie Davies is a landscape photographer and artist. She lives in London and works in the woods and forests of the UK. Her work explores the ways in which identity is formed by the landscapes we live and grow up in. Making temporary and non-invasive interventions in the forest, her work places the viewer in the gap between reality and fantasy, creating spaces which encourage the viewer to re-evaluate the way in which their own relationship with the landscape is formed. Her work has been exhibited extensively in the UK and Internationally, and was recently awarded 1st Prizes in The Art Gemini Awards 2014 and The Kontinent Awards 2014.
