The Tamron AF 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 XR Di II LD Aspherical (IF) Macro is a super-zoom lens for APS-C DSLRs, covering an effective focal length range of approximately 28-300mm. Despite its wide-ranging zoom, this lens is relatively small, measuring only 3.3 inches in length when locked at its 18mm position. Nikon DSLR owners should be aware that the Nikon mount version of the 18-200mm will only autofocus on camera bodies with a built-in AF motor.
