A special thanks to friend and professional photographer Merlin Kafka for his collaboration as a guest judge. Merlin is a 22-year old travel,nature and cityscape photographer with a passion to convey visual stories from a dramatic, atmospheric point of view. Born in Germany, he is now based in Scotland - ever since, his nomadic lifestyle has led him to move to new destinations on a regular basis. The resulting global view of the world allows him to quickly adapt to new cultures and to capture environments from his perspective. Merlin has won competitions for National Geographic, worked with brands such as Nikon Asia and Herschel Supply Co and been featured in various magazines and websites since. Besides his passion for photography he is currently pursuing a degree in Design Engineering.
